TakemyHand™ is an online chat that works on a PC, laptop, tablet, iPad, and your smartphone. It is staffed by Peer Support Specialists who use lived experiences to connect with people who are having life challenges. The PSS/Peer Operator will support you by listening and validating your concerns, offering resources, providing coping strategies and linking you to the right level of care. Peer Support is not just for the person struggling but also for the families/friends of someone who is struggling.

Family Support

Family Advocate Program provides appropriate and relevant services to family members of adults with serious mental health conditions in their respective regions of Riverside County, which are easily accessible and welcoming to them. Family Advocates are charged to advocate on the family member or caregiver’s behalf.

Homeless Housing Opportunities, Partnerships & Education Program (HHOPE) is MHSA funded as part of the original Community Services and Supports (CSS) plan. HHOPE stands for Homeless Housing, Opportunities, Partnerships, and Education. HHOPE is dedicated to empowering individuals experiencing homelessness by providing comprehensive resources and support for housing, employment, and personal development.

Safe Haven Programs - Welcome Center provides peer support, linkages to resources, and daily needs (such as food, showers, laundry). Residential support for up to 25 individuals who meet the criteria of chronic homelessness and also have mental health challenges.

Operation SafeHouse - provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless or other youth in crisis. SafeHouse offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
